Andrew Hoad appointed as a new Partner at PDT Solicitors
Published: 30 January 2018
Commercial law firm, PDT Solicitors, has expanded its successful corporate and commercial law team with the appointment of a new Partner, Andrew Hoad.
Andrew said “PDT are well known for the fantastic service that they provide to their clients. I am very excited to be a part of their team at a time when there is undoubtedly a gap in the market for a first class firm which is focussing on delivering services to businesses in the region. I’m looking forward to being part of PDT's continued expansion.”
Andrew has over 20 years of experience advising clients on corporate finance, cross border and domestic buy-outs and disposals/exits, joint ventures and restructurings. Having qualified with a City firm he has spent the last 13 years working in the local business community acting for a range of businesses. He has proven expertise in managing transactions involving both public and private equity investments particularly within the technology sector.
Listed in the Legal 500 as a ‘a truly trusted adviser’ Andrew has established a strong following of owner managed businesses throughout Sussex and Surrey as well as acting for a number of larger corporates based across the UK.
Commenting on the appointment, Head of Corporate, Noel Ruddy said: “We are delighted that Andrew has joined us as this is a very exciting time for PDT. We are continuing to attract high quality transactional work and have seen growth in demand for our services across a range of sectors. Andrew’s appointment is an endorsement of our position in the corporate finance world in the south east: his specialist expertise in corporate finance and corporate transactional work and presence in the market is just what we were looking for as we continue to develop our corporate service offering.”
In addition to Andrew’s appointment, PDT Solicitors has also promoted Bhavna Patel to Partner in its employment team and appointed Chehraz Fox as a Solicitor in the Real Estate team. Chehraz joins the firm from Irwin Mitchell.
