Congratulations to Aimee on passing her LPC and starting PDT’s Training Programme
Published: 28 September 2023
Congratulations to Aimee Hunter who recently passed her LPC and Masters with a Distinction and has now started her Lawyer Trainee programme with PDT.
Aimee has been working in our Debt Recovery and Dispute Resolution teams since 2019, where alongside her studies for her LPC she was successful in recovering £millions in commercial debt for our clients.
We are delighted she is now part of our trainee programme, where she will work in our employment, corporate & commercial, dispute resolution and real estate teams.
Her first seat is assisting James Clewlow and Chehraz Fox within our Real Estate team where she is getting hands on experience working on various real estate matters including option agreements and commercial leases.
Aimee says “PDT were really supportive and encouraging throughout my studies, and I am delighted to be starting my training with PDT. I am excited to work within each department over the next two years and to gain invaluable practical experience in each sector specialism. I have been a part of the PDT Future Leaders and Junior Fee Earners forum for a number of years, and I am looking forward to contributing to these forums further.”
James Clewlow comments “I am always excited when the trainee programme starts each Autumn. This year we have a great group of trainees and I am really pleased that Aimee has started her training with us following a great four years with us as a paralegal.”
The PDT Solicitors training programme not only fulfils the formal ‘on the job’ training requirements but also helps our trainees decide which area to specialise in, preparing them to be confident, effective solicitors at qualification. The trainee programme runs over two years, with the trainees usually completing four different seats rotating between our Company Commercial, Real Estate and Dispute Resolution teams.
