Congratulations to Blaze Signs and Arbuthnot Commercial ABL who won the PDT sponsored Asset Based Lending Deal of the Year Award at the Insider's South East Dealmakers Awards 2021

Arbuthnot won the award after another successful year supporting a range of businesses with funding requirements from £1m to £35m, including the Acquisition of Blaze Signs by Elaghmore.

 

Kent-based Blaze Signs has revenues of £25m and has 250 staff across the UK. The deal, supported by Arbuthnot Commercial ABL, allowed the business to expand and provide additional employment opportunities. The judges noted that the deal brought alongside the right partner for the business and the correct funding structure was significant.

 

The event celebrated the region's corporate finance firms, banks, funders, private equity houses and individuals that have excelled in dealmaking.

 

Our Head of Corporate, Noel Ruddy presented the award to Harry Margetts, Philip Squire, Josh Thorneycroft, James Marler, Wendy Parish and Andrew Rutherford, who were delighted to accept the award at a gala evening at Epsom Downs Racecourse on Thursday 2 September.
