Congratulations to Emily Parry for qualifying as a solicitor today!

Emily joined PDT in June 2017 as a legal secretary and started her training contract with PDT in October 2021. Since then, she has successfully completed seats with our employment, corporate & commercial, dispute resolution and real estate teams.

 

Emily will be a valued member of our Real Estate team, working on a multitude of matters including acquisitions and disposals of land, option agreements relating to development portfolios, and commercial leases.

 

Emily says “James, as Managing Partner, has championed my career progression since I joined in 2017. The training contact at PDT was a nurturing experience, where I felt supported and empowered throughout. Thank you to everyone who I’ve had the chance to work with and learn from in the last 6 years. I have had the opportunity to get hands on experience with clients which has given me to the confidence and the best start to my career as a Solicitor, and I look forward to the future!”

 

James comments “One of the most satisfying aspects of my job is to meet someone who says they want to be a lawyer and then however many years later after fantastic hard work and commitment they achieve their dream. The PDT Solicitors training programme not only fulfils the formal ‘on the job’ training requirements but also helps our trainees decide which area to specialise in, preparing them to be confident, effective solicitors at qualification. The trainee programme runs over two years, with the trainees usually completing four different seats rotating between our Company Commercial, Real Estate and Dispute Resolution teams.
