COVID-19

It is an understatement to say that we are in trying times at the moment. The coronavirus is a real concern not least because of its impact on our staff and their families but also in terms of how we continue to provide services to clients.
Following the government’s announcement for tighter measures on social distancing yesterday evening, we have decided to take further measures and directed all staff not to travel to work unless authorised by myself.
It is inevitable that at in special circumstances our staff may need to go to the office to retrieve files/ deal with matters that need the office function but we will now limit these to an absolute minimum. This may mean that we may be a little slower in dealing with some matters but please be reassured that we have been preparing for these further restrictions for a number of weeks and so we have set up a number of measures to ensure our staff are able to fulfil their roles via remote working, have access to the systems and technology they need and will be using skype video conferencing and Microsoft teams in place of face to face meetings.
In this time of uncertainty, we are all aware it is not business as usual for any of us, but we are doing all we can to keep providing the same level of service you can expect from PDT and deliver the same quality in all the work we do for you.
We hope this demonstrates our commitment to being responsible in trying to have an impact on how the virus will spread and affect us.
I hope that you understand the changes we have made and would ask that if you have any concerns that you call me or your principal contact here.
