Parry Jones - Day 8 of the 12 days of PDT Christmas
Published: 17 December 2021
On Day 8, Parry Jones, Deputy CEO at What's Possible Group talks to Rebecca Glazebrook, Partner in our Corporate team about his relationship with PDT, what makes What's Possible Group successful and his aims for 2022.
We see PDT as an extension of our team and a true partner on our growth journey. This includes supporting the People team, Trading & Commercial, M&A and shareholder matters. Every PDTer I’ve met are positive, passionate, and keen to do what’s best for What’s Possible.
How long have you got? The marketing industry is in constant change and that’s before you throw in the dreaded ‘C’ word. On a personal note, we re-launched the business – moving from single agency to a diverse group built for dynamic growth brands.
I’d like to clone some of our top people; we are growing super fast and maintaining our What’s Possible culture is really important.
My kids are at peak Christmas age… the oldest still believes and the youngest gets it now. This year will be really special!
An ornament of a sheep dressed in a football kit saying, ‘Ewe’s football mad’. I was a grown man at the time and, for the record, I have no particular interest in sheep.
Why are there 25 letters in the Christmas alphabet? (ask Mr Ruddy for the punchline)
Buddy from Elf. The kids will love him and how can you not laugh at Will Ferrell in that film?
We’re working towards becoming a B-Corp by the end of 2022. I’ll be super proud of the business if we get there.
We have a busy plan to launch new businesses, new products, create new departments and recruit a load of new people. It’s going to be a lot of fun!
