PDT’s corporate team has advised the management team of Geotech Soil Stabilisation Limited (Geotech) on an investment of £14 million by Mobeus Equity Partners LLP (Mobeus). Geotech supplies sustainable ground stabilisation using a unique application system and proprietary binder for temporary and permanent construction works to a national client base. The investment will enable Geotech to increase its market share and expand a client list that already comprises the likes of Murphy Group and Network Rail.

"Our thanks go to PDT for their help in getting us to the finish line. The transaction had a number of twists and turns and, as always, Noel, Rebecca and the team ensured that matters were kept on track in a calm, pragmatic manner and were on hand throughout to offer their expert guidance to ensure we achieved the desired outcome."

The management team were advised by corporate partners Noel Ruddy and Rebecca Glazebrook, assisted by Mark Diamond (Corporate), Sian Webber (Corporate), Bhavna Patel (Employment) and Craig Burton (Real Estate).

Noel Ruddy, Head of Corporate said “We’ve known Bill Hinge for many years so it was a pleasure to work with him again. Geotech is a fantastic business with great management and great prospects for the future. With the backing Geotech has received from Mobeus, it will now be able to accelerate its growth and continue to dominate its market.”

Rebecca Glazebrook, who led the PDT team, said “This was a complex transaction with a number of moving pieces. It drew on all our transaction experience to ensure we covered the corporate, commercial, tax, real estate and intellectual property issues posed by a deal of this size and complexity. We wish Bill, Robin and the management team every success and look forward to working with them again on their next deal!”
