PDT Future Leaders Rounders Event Success
Published: 10 August 2022
Last week, PDT Future Leaders held their first event since the COVID-19 pandemic. It was great to pick back up where the group left off in 2019 and to get together to enjoy some sun, drinks, pizza and rounders in the park.
Congratulations to Team 3 who smashed it out of the park with a total of 19½ rounders, closely followed by Team 2 with 19 rounders and Team 1 with 18½ across two games each.
Particular highlights include PDT’s own Victoria Jackson being caught out twice in a row, despite insisting “it won’t happen again!”, and Michael Conway from Moore Kingston Smith doing a backflip in an attempt to catch a flying ball (unfortunately, this was not caught on camera!). The catch was unsuccessful but at least the back flip meant he lost out in style!
It was great to see representatives from a number of local businesses including Carpenter Box, Coole Bevis LLP, Family Law Partners, FRP Advisory, Jespers Property Group, Just Group plc, Knill James, Kreston Reeves, Metro Bank (UK), Moore Kingston Smith and Quantuma.
A great time was had by all, and the group are already planning their Autumn event later this year. Make sure you sign up to our mailing list to be the first to know about our upcoming events!
