"Acquiring the HH portfolio of clients was an important step forward for Advantedge and required a steady hand to deal with a number of complex issues. With their expertise in dealing with portfolio sales Noel and his team at PDT were superb in cracking through the legal issues and making sure we got the deal done. Thank you for all your efforts and especially for giving up your weekends so we could get documents signed!"
David Tilling, CEO, Advantedge Commerical Finance
PDT previously advised the management team of Advantedge and Mobeus Equity Partners on the management buyout of Advantedge (previously Factor 21).
Advantedge has been operating in the invoice finance market since 2001 and boasts a client base of over 650 UK businesses. Advantedge offer a full range of invoice finance facilities to small and medium sized businesses and have seen consistent growth, having already funded over £2 billion worth of invoices. The acquisition of HH Cashflow supports Advantedge’s ambitious growth plans and will enable them to expand their national presence to now include the South West and Wales region.
Noel Ruddy, Head of Corporate at PDT, said, “We’ve worked with Advantedge for many years so it was a pleasure to work with them on their acquisition of HH Cashflow. The transaction raised a number of technical issues which required us to draw upon our knowledge and experience of the asset based lending sector. Our team worked collaboratively with all parties to reach a satisfactory conclusion within a tight timeframe.”
The PDT team was led by Noel Ruddy assisted by Sian Webber (Corporate).
