PDT Solicitors has advised the sole shareholder, Jasbir Sidhu, on the sale of Corporate Risk Associates Limited to Assystem.

"Thank you very much to Noel and Sian for all their help and support in getting the deal over the line. Despite everyone having to adjust to the challenges of the COVID-19 lockdown, Noel and Sian worked hard to ensure the transaction completed on time"

Jas Sidhu, Corporate Risk Associates Limited

The company was set up by Jas and his co-founder some 20 years ago.  Since then, the company has become one of Europe’s largest human risk and safety consultancies, providing services to safety-critical industries in the power, nuclear, process, defence, transportation and finance sectors.

Assystem is the world’s second largest independent nuclear engineering company. It has over 50 years’ experience of providing industrial infrastructure with engineering and project management services. The acquisition of Corporate Risk Associates will enhance its capabilities in the nuclear sector whilst providing Jas and his team the opportunity to expand the range of services they currently provide to their clients.

Noel Ruddy (Head of Corporate) and Sian Webber (Associate) advised Jas on the sale to Assytem whilst Andrew England and Andrew Hookway of Menzies provided tax and accountancy advice.

Noel said “We enjoyed working with Jas on the sale of his company. Assystem looks to be a great fit for Corporate Risk Associates and we wish Jas and his team every success for the future.

Sian said “It was a pleasure to help Jas realise the value of his hard work. It’s an exciting time for Corporate Risk Associates as it continues to expand and develop. Congratulations, Jas.”
