PDT’s Insolvency team are delighted to have assisted Harrisons Business Recovery in obtaining court approval for their remuneration as administrators of a company following rejection of the proposals by a portion of the creditors.
"PDT’s team produced superb service and support in a hefty application. The advice provided was always timely, considered and commercial. Full marks to Ian, Claire and Jonathan for persistent diligence and remaining supportively cheerful throughout!"
Tony Murphy, Harrisons Business Recovery
The Insolvency Rules and Practice Direction for such applications are challenging, requiring very full and precise evidence; Ian Lindley and Claire Butler of PDT, supported by Jonathan McNae of Counsel, assisted Tony Murphy and his team at Harrisons with the arduous task of assembling the evidence and making the application, stressing the impeccable manner in which the administration had been conducted. It was a lengthy and painstaking process drawing on the expertise, persistence and commitment of all involved. After four hearings the court accepted the application in almost every detail and ordered that remuneration be paid together with all the costs of the application.
PDT Solicitors' Insolvency and Corporate Recovery practice is ranked as a leading firm in the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners UK and discribed as "a niche firm with a big market presence. Very well experienced in personal insolvency.’"
