PDT’s Aviation Disputes Team Takes Off
Published: 08 February 2022
PDT’s Aviation Dispute Resolution Team has in recent years assisted a growing number of clients involved in complex aviation disputes and compliance with airworthiness regulation. PDT now regularly advises a wide profile of clients in the aviation sector, ranging from flag carrier airlines, aircraft owner and operators, MROs, CAMOs and other service providers to airlines and airports.
In the past year we have assisted several clients in complex litigation involving airlines, CAMOs, Component MROs and OEMs. Such litigation usually always involves a cross-border element and the application of, and advice on, EU Air-safety regulation.
Our specialist employment and commercial offerings mean that we are also well placed to advise aviation clients in relation to a wide range of critical commercial issues, especially in relation to employee rights and also in relation to matters pertaining to supply arrangements and aircraft finance and leasing.
The team at PDT have a real passion and enthusiasm for the aviation industry. Ben spends many hours with his son building model aircraft and Justin is a repeat visitor to the Gatwick Aviation Museum with his young son (the Avro Shackleton deserves more than one visit!).

Justin adds "Our growth in the aviation sector has been incredibly exciting. For a team of aviation enthusiasts, it has been an absolute pleasure to assist our clients to resolve their disputes. We are an ambitious team and look forward to growing our experience and recognition in the aviation sector in the coming years, not just in the South East, but beyond."
