"The Wednesday Lease Club" RHLA/ELM Group Annual Conference

Sometimes it is just a real privilege to be asked to join in and be part of something. We have worked with Retirement Lease Housing Association / RHLA / ELM Group for over twenty-two years. Last year they turned 50 and as part of their celebration they invited us to take part in seminars at their Annual Conference. We have done this for a number of years – the last two being over Zoom – but this year’s conference felt particularly special.

 

Last week, together with Tania Leverington, I ran two seminars which we called “The Wednesday Lease Club” (apologies to Richard Osman) designed to get everyone talking about the grey areas of lease interpretation that dominates leasehold management. The sessions were great fun and the feedback and response was fantastic but as I said at the beginning of the note it was a privilege to be involved.
